I can't place my life in this world,
Has it forgotten a woman's worth?
I stand here, beneath a banner unfurled,
Surrounded by naught but this twisted earth.
They ride again without me,
Those bold men and their brave horses,
Over rough land and over blue sea,
Trampling over enemy forces.
Why am I to be left behind?
Am I really that petty a being?
Why do they seem to be so blind?
Am I really not worth seeing?
