My heart tightens further.
"He will be alright,"
They say.
"He will survive,"
They say.
"He will come back,"
They say.
But when he leaves I still see my little boy waving goodbye,
He who cried beside his father's grave.
My lips move,
A single sentence escapes, unheard,
"Please come back to me."
